Ode to an Otter-pop

Otter-pop you are so cold,
    you are a frozen delight.
Otter-pop you are so bold,
    you're such a beautiful sight.

When I hold you I feel as if on a great hight,
Time spent near is such a hoot.
Happiness flows from you in great might,
With you my problems are all moot.

I have tried to give you the boot,
your advocates in me have won the fight.
It seems my mind you pollute,
    what a great plight.

You make me cold when you I hold,
This is a cause of great blight.
I wrap you with a protective fold,
If you melt it would cause me fright.

I do believe you have me sold,
    I can no longer dispute.
My protection I will unfold,
Your colorful goodness I can't refute.
